Damons made a layup with 43 seconds left, then four foul shots in the final 27 seconds to secure the comeback win for the Dragons (25-6) at the Northwest Georgia Trade Center in Dalton. Darius Minor’s 26 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, helped Jefferson overcome Callaway’s 45-42 lead after three quarters. David Rutledge and Quantavius Leslie led Callaway (20-8) with 15 and 14 points, respectively, while Quan Bray contributed 13.
Greater Atlanta Christian 77, Spencer 43:Trent Wiedeman scored 26 points to lead the Spartans to a devon baulkman basketball Boys state basketball roundupconvincing win over Spencer at the Northwest Trade Center in Dalton. The Spartans (30-1), who lost to Dublin in the semifinals last season, outscored Spencer in every quarter, including 25-6 in the third. Malcolm Brogdon scored 16 points and Paul Dawson added 14 for GAC. Damion Brown scored 26 for Spencer. My teammates did a good job of breaking their press and getting me the ball, Wiedeman said.

Wilcox County 61, Aquinas 50:Quez Mohogany scored 15 points, and Vidal Emory and Nick Marshall each added 12 for Wilcox (26-2), which led 56-33 with four minutes remaining in a game played at Columbus State. C.J. Washington scored 17 points and Robert Turner added 15 for Aquinas (21-7).
Mays 47, Hillgrove 45:Aloys Cabell banked in a layup as he was lling down to beat Hillgrove in a quarterfinal game played at West Georgia. Cabell, who scored 23 points, stayed on the floor as teammates piled on top him to celebrate. With the score tied with just over a minute left, Mays missed a shot, grabbed the offensive rebound and then held the ball until calling timeout with 6.8 seconds left. Cabell then drove the lane to score the game-winner.

Terrell County 51, Wilkinson County 50:Terel Hall hit both ends of a one-and-one with 40 seconds remaining to help seal the upset for the Greenwave at Columbus State. Hall finished with 15 points. Terrell’s Marqez Dotson led all scorers with 16 points. Wilkinson County was led by Trey Jeter’s 12 points, and Fitzgerald White’s 11.

Glenn Hills had two chances to tie the game in the final 15 seconds, but missed a pair of free throws and a 3-point attempt. Justin Harris led Bainbridge with 16 points. The victory put Bainbridge (27-4) in the semifinals for the second straight season, but with an entidevon baulkman basketballrely new starting five. Bainbridge has won 20 straight games. Glenn Hills (23-8) was led by Terrell Fritts’ 22 points.
